CC Collier Concierge Physical Therapy & Performance

Why concierge

What you are actually comparing.

Most people weighing us up are comparing against two things: the clinic their insurance sends them to, and the massage they already book. Both comparisons are worth making honestly, so here they are.

Comparison one

Concierge care against a traditional clinic

Nothing here is a criticism of the clinicians working in insurance-based clinics. Most of them are excellent and many of them are constrained by a model that decides how long they get with you and how many people they see at once. The difference below is structural, not personal.

Collier Concierge A typical in-network clinic
Time with your therapist A full hour, one on one, start to finish Often 15 to 20 minutes with the therapist, the rest with an aide or on your own
Who actually treats you A Doctor of Physical Therapy, every visit Frequently a technician or assistant after the first appointment
Where it happens Your home, club, gym, or the course Their clinic, during their hours
How many patients share your slot One. You. Commonly two or three at the same time
Who shapes your plan of care You and your therapist, on clinical judgement Often constrained by what the insurer authorises
Travel None. We come to you. Every single visit, plus parking and waiting
Between appointments Telehealth touchpoints, and direct text access on membership Your next appointment
What you pay Published on this site. You pay us directly. Copay, plus deductible, plus whatever the balance bill turns out to be

Described as what is typical of each model. Individual clinics vary, and some in-network practices do run one-on-one hours.

Comparison two

Physical therapy against massage therapy

This one comes up constantly, and the honest answer is that they are different jobs. Massage is genuinely useful and plenty of our patients keep booking it.

  Concierge physical therapy Massage therapy
Who treats you A Doctor of Physical Therapy, a licensed healthcare clinician A licensed massage therapist
What it is for Diagnosing and treating the cause of a movement problem Soft-tissue relaxation and symptom relief
Assessment Full orthopedic, neurological and biomechanical evaluation, with an SFMA or TPI screen Typically none
What is used Manual therapy, dry needling, prescribed exercise, movement retraining, video analysis Hands-on soft-tissue work
What you leave with A clinical plan of care and a home program A session
Documentation Clinical notes, and superbills you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement A receipt
When it is the right call Pain that limits what you can do, an injury, post-op recovery, or a performance ceiling Recovery, stress, and general tightness

A good massage will leave your shoulder feeling looser for a few days. What it will not do is work out why the shoulder keeps failing at the top of your backswing. If the tightness keeps coming back to the same place, that is a movement problem asking to be diagnosed, and diagnosing it is our job.

The fine print, up front

What concierge care costs you, and what it saves you

You pay directly

We are out-of-network by design, which is what makes the hour-long, one-on-one format possible. We provide detailed superbills on request, which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

No hidden travel charges

Concierge care means we bring the clinic to your living room, estate, or office in Collier County, with no hidden travel charges. No time or distance fees for accepted patients. Beyond our listed service area, please inquire. A $100 service charge may apply for visits more than 15 miles outside 34113.

Care between the visits

Injuries do not follow a schedule. Your telehealth touchpoint lets you hop on a secure video call between home visits if you have an unexpected pain flare-up, need an exercise modified, or have a question about your recovery progress.

Memberships do not roll over

Unused membership visits expire at the end of each billing cycle. We would rather tell you that here than bury it in terms. It exists so the roster stays small enough that your preferred slot is actually available.

Still deciding?

The evaluation is the low-risk way in. You get a full assessment, a plan, and your first hands-on treatment in the same visit, so you leave knowing what is wrong and having already started on it.
