A
You have stopped playing
Pain or an injury took the game away. The goal is getting you back on the course, not just getting you comfortable on the sofa.
Golf & sports performance
Golf-specific physical therapy from a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is Titleist Performance Institute certified at Medical Level 2. Assessed and treated at your home, your club, or on the course.
Where you are right now
Almost everyone who calls is in one of these three places. All three are treatable and all three start the same way, with finding out what your body is actually doing.
A
Pain or an injury took the game away. The goal is getting you back on the course, not just getting you comfortable on the sofa.
B
You still tee off, you just pay for it afterwards. Rounds get shorter, the back nine gets harder, and you have quietly changed your swing to protect something.
C
Nothing hurts. Something is still capping your rotation, your stability, or your speed, and no amount of lessons fixes a physical restriction.
The credential, explained
The Titleist Performance Institute studies how the body moves in a golf swing. Their certification pathway starts with Level 1, which covers the screen every TPI professional uses, and branches into medical, fitness, junior and coaching tracks.
Medical Level 2 is the clinical branch, taken by licensed providers who are treating injuries rather than teaching the swing. It connects what shows up in your swing to what is happening in your hips, spine, shoulders and ankles.
Practically, it means the person watching your swing on video is the same person who can put hands on the restriction causing it, and who is licensed to treat the injury underneath. Your golf pro fixes your technique. This fixes the body that has to execute it.
Brian Bolin is TPI certified at Level 1 and Medical Level 2, and SFMA Level 1 certified. His TPI listing is public: verify it on mytpi.com .
