South Naples covers 34112, 34113 and 34114, running south and east from the city toward the communities along Thomasson Drive and Bayshore, out through the Isles of Collier Preserve and down toward Lely.
The 34113 ZIP is the anchor for our travel policy: our service charge, where it ever applies, is measured from here. Nothing in South Naples attracts one.
A mix of housing, and what that means
South Naples is more varied than the areas north of it. There are established neighbourhoods of modest single-family homes, newer master-planned communities with their own amenity centres, and a stretch of waterfront property along the bay.
For a mobile practice that variety is mostly irrelevant, which is the advantage of the model. We bring the table and the equipment either way. Where it does matter is in what we can use: a community fitness centre with proper equipment opens up the strength stage of a plan considerably compared with a living room and a set of bands.
If your community has a fitness centre and you are happy to work there, say so at the evaluation.
The Bayshore area
The Bayshore Arts District and the streets around it have changed considerably in recent years, with a good deal of new and renovated housing. For residents recovering from surgery in an older property, the useful thing about an in-home evaluation is that we assess the house you actually live in, including the step arrangements and bathroom layout that determine how independent you can be in the first weeks.
Golf and boating
Golf is well represented here, and so is boating, which produces its own pattern of shoulder and lower back complaints. Loading a cooler over a gunwale, handling lines, and standing on an unstable deck for hours are genuine physical demands that people do not think of as sport until something goes.
We treat those the same way we treat a golf injury: work out which restriction the task is exposing, then rebuild toward the task itself.
