The Vineyards is a large master-planned community off Vanderbilt Beach Road in 34119, with its own country club and thirty-six holes. It sits inside the wider Naples area rather than out at its edge, which makes it quick to reach and puts it firmly inside the no-travel-charge area.
Why golf assessments matter more in a community like this
In a community built around a golf club, the volume of play is the defining physical fact of a member’s year. Play goes from occasional to several times a week once the season starts, and the body has usually had months off.
The injuries that follow are predictable: the lead hip, the lower back, and the lead shoulder, in roughly that order. Almost all of them come from the same place, which is a restriction somewhere in the rotational chain being compensated for several hundred times a week.
A TPI assessment finds those restrictions before the volume exposes them. It is a much better use of $350 in October than the same money spent on treatment in January.
Thirty-six holes and what that does to a schedule
Two courses means members play more, not less. It also means the walking volume is higher than people account for, and walking volume is what tends to expose foot, ankle and knee problems that a driving-range assessment never would.
Where it is useful, we do the assessment on the course rather than indoors, because the swing you make on the eleventh tee after three hours of walking is the swing that is actually injuring you.
Not only golf
The Vineyards has a broad age range and a substantial number of residents whose concerns have nothing to do with sport. Practicalities
Tell us the gate procedure when you book. Sessions can happen at home, in the community fitness centre, at the club where permitted, or on the course.
$350 for the golf and performance evaluation with swing analysis, $325 for the general comprehensive evaluation. Both include your first treatment.
