Goodland is a fishing village at the southeastern corner of Marco Island, with its own ZIP code, 34140, and a permanent population in the hundreds. It has a character entirely its own and very little in the way of services.
It is on our list because a service area that quietly excludes the small places is not really a service area. There is no travel charge here.
Distance is the whole point
For a Goodland resident, any clinic-based course of physical therapy means a drive to Marco or on to Naples, repeated for every visit. For someone recovering from surgery, or whose balance is the reason they were referred in the first place, that is not a minor inconvenience. It is frequently the reason care does not happen at all.

A working waterfront
Goodland is oriented around the water, and the physical demands that come with that are real: hauling gear, handling lines, working on unstable surfaces, and repetitive lifting at awkward angles.
Shoulders and lower backs take most of it. Our approach is the same as it is for an athlete: find the restriction the task is exposing rather than treating the sore spot, then rebuild capacity against the actual demand, which here means being able to work rather than being able to play.
Older residents and staying put
For long-term residents who intend to stay in Goodland, in-home therapy is worth more than the convenience suggests. Balance work, fall prevention and mobility training done in your own house address your actual stairs, your actual bathroom and your actual thresholds.
Lindsey delivers neurological care and the full LSVT BIG protocol here on the same terms as everywhere else. Sixteen sessions in four weeks from Goodland to a clinic is not a realistic ask of anyone. At home it is straightforward.
