Parkinson's, balance & mobility
Sixteen sessions.
Zero car journeys.
The full LSVT BIG protocol, delivered in your own home by Lindsey Bolin, PT, DPT, a certified LSVT BIG clinician. Plus balance, mobility and the confidence to keep doing the things that matter.
Why in-home changes the maths
LSVT BIG runs four days a week for four weeks. In a clinic model, that is sixteen trips out of the house inside a month, each one needing a car, a driver, a parking space and the energy to do it, arranged for someone whose mobility is the reason they were referred in the first place. Families drop out of the protocol over logistics, not over the therapy.
We remove the trip entirely. And because we are in your home, the balance work happens on your stairs, your rugs, your bathroom, and the step down to your lanai, rather than on clinic flooring that is nothing like where you actually fall.

Beyond the protocol
Balance, safety and staying independent
Patients usually come to me for mobility, balance, and community mobility limitations that make everyday activities more difficult or less safe.
I work best with older adults who are motivated to improve their safety, independence, and confidence with mobility at home and in the community, particularly individuals with Parkinson's disease, neurological conditions, or age-related declines in function.

Before you call
What is LSVT BIG?
It is a standardised, evidence-based physical therapy protocol developed for people with Parkinson’s disease. It trains large-amplitude movement, because Parkinson’s tends to shrink movement over time in a way that is hard to self-correct. The protocol is delivered by a certified clinician and follows a set structure rather than being improvised session to session.
How long does the program take?
Sixteen sessions across four weeks, four days a week, plus daily homework. It is intensive by design; the structure is part of why it works, and it is not something to spread thinner.
Why does having it at home matter?
Sixteen sessions in a month means sixteen round trips to a clinic, arranged by someone whose mobility is the reason for the referral. That is a lot of driving, parking, and getting in and out of a car for a family already managing a great deal. We bring the program to you instead, and we get to practise in the actual rooms, doorways and steps you use every day.
Do you work with families and caregivers?
Yes, and it is part of the program rather than an add-on. Education for the people around the patient is built into how Dr. Lindsey Bolin works, because most of the week happens without a therapist in the room.
Do you treat conditions other than Parkinson’s?
Yes. Balance problems, other neurological conditions, and age-related declines in strength, confidence and community mobility are all common reasons people call.
Do you take insurance?
No. Collier Concierge is an out-of-network, cash-pay practice. We provide detailed superbills on request, which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Talk it through first
Most families want a conversation before they want a booking form. Call and speak to a Doctor of Physical Therapy about whether this is the right fit.
